I cannot even begin to count how many rollercoaster rides I went on during the process of creating this. One moment I felt super connected to her as if she was standing beside me watching me draw and the next I felt like a pile of bricks had been dropped on me as it sank in that she's not physically here anymore. Hurts like hell but somehow by the end of it I can feel the warmth of her hug and see the light of her smile. I miss her more than I can begin to explain so I'm really looking forward to continuing the celebration of her life and keeping her spirit alive. Let's do this! October 1st, The 2016 Vera Fest will commence.
