#DailyUI 041 - "Workout" tracker

#041 - Workout tracker - Pokémon Go for Apple Watch

I'm not much of a personal fitness guy, but Pokémon Go has gotten me to walk in situations where I normally would have driven. I'd call that a good first step. Also, the word "tracker" made me think of how a companion app for Apple Watch really made sense for Pokemon Go.

Instead of staring at your phone while playing, why not get "nearby" information on your wrist while walking, and when something new pops into your perimeter, display it front and center. This would allow a player to keep the phone in their pocket with Battery Saver mode, and not look like a weirdo walking around with their arms outstretched.

Haptic response on your wrist. Quick glance… oh it's a Zubat? Back to walking.

One important consideration for the UI's design is basic a Apple Watch principle; only use values of one color + white to save on battery use and maintain a consistent experience across watch apps. This works particularly well with Pokemon, as they are designed to have unique and recognizable silhouettes (except Voltorb and Electrode, obviously).
