Measure Twice Cut Once
My grandfather was born and raised on a farm in Minnesota, where he quickly became well-known, within the industry, for his quality milk. He was a hard worker on the farm as well as in his shop. From hand-held tools to big machinery, he knew the ins and outs and could make just about anything you needed him to.
Recently, my grandfather passed away, but he left behind more than a few tangible and intangible things. All of his tools that still work to this day, as well as a quote that he obviously didn't come up with, but one that can be applied to a lot of areas of life and stuck with me.
Just this past month, my brother and his wonderful wife bought a house right before having their first kid. His dream was to have a decent space for a shop where he could get his hands dirty. Where he could fix, create, and get away. Well, he has that now, and is working, slowly but surely, to get it up and running the way he wants to.
I designed his print to go up in his new shop to remind him to measure twice and cut once and to remind him of our grandfather.
So stoked to pick this print up and get 'er framed and up in it's new home right next to our grandfathers tools.
