Oxipira logo

The county name (Piracicaba, where Oxipira is based) comes from the Tupi language and means "the place where the fish comes" through the junction of the terms 'pirá' ("fish"), 'syk' ("get") and 'aba' ("place"). It is a reference to the Piracicaba River Falls, which block the migration (spawning) fish.
