#MakeitBetter: Netflix Movie Recommendation

Background
After using Netflix for months, I found it difficult to decide "what movie should I watch now?" #firstworldproblem. Why? Besides Netflix's limited filter category, their personalizitation feature is also not really helpful.

Problem
The example above show what you will see on the homepage. There's a bunch of recommendation section based on our activity on Netflix. Take a look at what I highlight, how they are so sure that I like "Scientology and the Prison..."? I only watch it like 15 mins and find it boring so I don't want to watch more items like that. Basically, my Netflix homepage is full of these useless recommendation.

Proposed Solution
Hard solution is actually offered by Netflix. They allow you to modify your activity BUT the menu is buried under My Profile (I just googled "how to delete Netflix watch history"). It's not efficient if you have to go to My Profile back and forth to remove the unwanted item.

My solution is to put something like "not interested" on Youtube recommendation or "show me less like this" Twitter version. You can "dislike" the whole recommendation section or only selected movie.

Anyone encounter the same problem like mine?
