Petro Filmworks Logo Design

Petro is a commercial film production studio based in the U.S. The current name of the company is ‘Petro Studios’. It will be rebranding to ‘Petro Filmworks’.
The name ‘Petro’ literally means ‘rock’ in greek. It more specifically
refers to a cornerstone you would build a house upon.
I used the organic layers of the elevations of the rock to create a logo. The colours inspired by earth tones, with some variant of dark blue / blue. And I completed it with a sans serif font.
