Icon Brainstorming

Every great idea has to start somewhere. Just let your mind flow and see where it takes you!

Here are some first iterations of icons made during the brainstorm & mockup process for a project I'm currently working on.

These are quick, <60 second sketches of icons made on a whim. Most are drawn on a Wacom tablet with complete disregard to proportions or neatness. The aim of this exercise is to focus on quantity over quality, and to later improve on the ideas that stand out.
