Red Sox Scores: August 19, 2016
The Red Sox seemed to get everyone rowing in the same direction on Friday night as the offense and defense worked together to pick up a big win in Detroit. Home runs from Big Papi and Jackie Bradley Jr. in the first inning set the tone for the rest of the game as every Sox starter came away with at least one hit. Rick Porcello dominated his old team, striking out eight and limiting their offense to just four hits and one earned run.
