"You're Invited" refined sketch

Invitation design for a client.

I thought I had finished the piece when all of the letters were connected, but I noticed the readability was questionable, especially in "Invited" (check out the final and pre-final sketches attached).

I decided to break up the _n_ and _v_, so they stopped reading like an _m_. To keep the words cohesive, I broke up the _u_ and _r_. The crossbar of the _t_ was masking the existence of the _i_ so I felt it was necessary to break that up as well.

This is a good reminder to myself that readability should be a primary concern when lettering.
