Red Sox Scores: August 9, 2016
The Red Sox finally returned to Fenway Park after a lengthy west coast road trip to host the now depleted Yankees, who jumped out to an early lead. Boston was able to battle back to earn the win for Rick Porcello who turned in yet another solid outing. Andrew Benintendi nearly had his first career home run but, with the call overturned on a video review, the rookie had to settle for his first career double instead.
