Bouncing Isaac
The Bouncing Isaac is an experiment with light and physics, using the watch’s built-in sensors to display playful, interactive, geometric patterns and colors that change throughout the day.
Commissioned by Google as part of the Google Android Experiments, our team designed a collection of experimental watch faces. The design utilized the internal components of the Android Wear watches, such as their accelerometers and pedometers, creating playful user feedback at every glance. The intention of the experiments was to unite developers surrounding a common platform in order to push the capabilities of Android tablets, phones, and watches. Additionally, the design explored how consumers interact with and generate information in a meaningful way as wearable devices increase in popularity.
