Red Sox Scores: July 30, 2016
Despite yet another Mookie Betts leadoff home run, the Red Sox dropped the third game of the series to the Angels. Starter Drew Pomeranz was inconsistent and didn’t get the offensive help that has been the hallmark of the 2016 season, as the Sox scored their only two runs in the first inning. An Albert Pujols two-run home run in the third would put LA on top for good.
