MDgeeks Slack Community Landing Page
Hey there Dribbble! Swamped with projects at the moment, which is nice but also sometimes a bit overwhelming, because at times it feels as if I'm biting more than I can chew. Alas, I'm trying to get as much done because I understand that in an industry like this, quantity and repetition are the best progress indicators.
Anywho enough with the lifestory. This shot is some pro-bono work I did for a good friend of mine who has been building a Facebook group and scaling it up for a while now, but has decided that the initial vision for MDgeeks was to have more meaningful interactions, discussions and collaborations between members.
At times he felt as if he was sharing content for the sake of putting something out. I had suggested that he moved the most active users within his community to a Slack chat. I built a quick iteration of what the landing page, to get users to join the Slack community, would look like for both mobile and desktop.
My personal opinion is that the 'What's in it for you' section needs a bit more fine tuning. Just seeing a body of text explaining why to join, may not do much for people who are interested. Anyhow, that's why we work in iterations I guess.
