Trenitalia

Another illustration from a booklet I made of my trip to Italy this past spring.

This one is about the time we took 2 trains from Cinque Terre to the Bologna airport, waited there for 7 hours for our delayed flight to get cancelled, dashed to the train station to catch the last 8 hour over-night train to Austria and grabbed the last two seats out of Vienna back to NY with 30 minutes to spare (all while Scott was insanely sick). Standby travel is great but ya gotta grind for it!
