Reggie Jackson Logo

When we presented the logo I designed for Paul George, we presented it on a hat, a t-shirt, and a necklace. Reggie Jackson (PG for Detroit Pistons) happened to be there, too, and especially liked the necklace.

This made me grin ear-to-ear and motivated to jot down some ideas for a logo of his own. The idea was to join the 'R' and 'J' and for a '1' in the negative space between them—nothing that will blow minds, but I think it's effective. I'm going to mess around with an italic version of this as I think it may make it more visually interesting.
