Dad's Driving

Process behind a recent piece inspired by childhood memories of my family on the road. My dad has always been a big race fan. Growing up, he would always opt for the long way home - the winding roads with hills that made your stomach fly into your throat. Despite a few speeding tickets, he never got us into any real scrapes. Scary though his driving is at times, you've got to hand it to him - he knows what he's doing behind the wheel.
