Attack of the 50 ft. Ring Girl

In a little sketchbook riff I was thinking about the logic of "The Ring," and wondering if the ring girl would have to change her proportion to fit any screen size. (I'm not sure why I'm explaining the joke here. Maybe because I've been looking at if for so long on my damn computer screen that it doesn't make sense to me.) Anyway, sometimes in the middle of executing a sketch I'll realize I've set myself up to stumble into a major weak area in my drawing ability. In this case it was in trying to render the rows of car in the drive-in. Finally, after two days of tweaking, I ended up scrapping a much more complicated version and going back to focus on the essentials of the joke. (Namely, It's a drive in, and the Ring girl is really big. Done.)
