Red Sox Scores: July 10, 2016
The Red Sox offense got all the runs it would need in the first two innings of the game on Sunday afternoon, including a homer by David Ortiz, who capped off an impressive first half of the season. David Price gave us a glimpse of the ace pitcher he can be, shutting out his former team over eight innings before handing the reins over to Brad Ziegler, Boston’s latest addition to their bullpen, to close out the game.
Boston will be sending six players to the All Star game this week: Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley Jr., Mookie Betts, and David Ortiz, who will all start, plus pitchers Steven Wright and Craig Kimbrel.
