What if product hunt used the glasshole kitty as their identity? Glasshole kitty (https://goo.gl/ZQxWS8) is an alternate branding image used by Product Hunt since the beginning, but their current brand mark is just the letter 'P'. The thought crossed my mind & I gave it a quick try!
