Environment Concept

Lately I've been longing to explore the upper peninsula of Michigan. Also to do some concept art. Here's a product of that.

I've noticed that I go pretty heavy on texture in my illustrations, so my goal lately has been to balance my process out more - from sketching to value blocking to putting the final colors in. I'm somewhat satisfied so far, and stoked to keep making progress!
