FSF Footer

Footers can be cool! There I said it. A footer is a opportunity to marry functionality with aesthetic, and lately I've been very disheartened to see so many footers floating around that are simplistic (because honestly when do clients only have four links?)

Dribbble could use some footer love so here's my take for the Flight Safety Foundation, an international non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide impartial, independent, expert safety guidance and resources for the aviation and aerospace industry. They needed a footer that would highlight their social media, as well as to move traffic towards their other properties. I used the airplane at the bottom as visual interest, while also aiding business goals in getting people to go to linkedin.
