Rejected Lettering

First approach, which meanwhile has been dumped, for an ongoing project.

I wanted to imprint some kinetic to it, so I went with the gradients to emulate hand writing movement and direction.

Each letter ends in a darker short stroke, as if it has been written with a coloured felt tip pen.

To avoid the strokes looking like 3D tubes, I've made the ending points as rounded rectangles instead of the original circles.

The project took another direction, but nonetheless I'm quite fond of this initial effort.
