MediumCast User Flow

This weekend I found myself too busy, again, to finish multiple Medium articles even though they had captured my interest. I always seem to find the perfect subject just before having to head out the door or onto the next task.

Medium is beauitful in its simplicity, but what if Medium authors were able to record their stories? Readers could add stories to a playlist for listening later – on a long drive or while they get ready in the mornings.

We have screen readers, which are great for accessibility, but wouldn’t it be more interesting to hear an author tell their own story? How would it enhance the experience for blind or visually impaired readers?

So, I came up with this little product idea called MediumCast. Here I’m showing a simple flow for an author who is uploading their audio.

What would you add? What am I missing?
