Shadow Cities In-Game Player Selection

Part of suggested improvements to in-game UI for iOS game Shadow Cities.

Here I suggest a smaller footprint for player selection as well as the ability message a player directly from this screen. I also suggest using a notification bubble to indicate incoming messages from players.
