2016 Personal Logo

I've spent the last couple of weeks developing and refining logo ideas for my personal branding (and debating whether I should even have a personal logo). I've decided on this logo. The custom type is JM combined into one letterform. I chose this logo because I felt it best represented me as a designer and a person. The shape of the letters represent forward motion. With the italic slant and the tail of the 'J' I feel like this emotion is very well conveyed in a fun, yet simple way.
