Workspace Shot - June 2016

Figured some folks might find my updated workspace setup semi-interesting. Since I last posted a shot of my creative space in 2011, a lot has changed: we moved to a full-fledged house, we have 2 kids (and one more on the way), and I'm working fully remote.

Long story short, with another kid on the way and more room needed in the house I decided to purchase a 2005 Carson Fun Runner and convert it into a full-time office. 'Toy Hauler' trailers are awesome for this sort of thing because they are built to be modular, tall, and open- perfect for a small, dedicated office space.

The trailer is in a constant state of improvement and alteration but wanted to post the most recent fruits of my efforts. Using a Jarvis Bamboo Standing Desk with Topo Mat which I love. Standing 2/3 of my day now and sitting on a Herman Miller Aeron for the other 1/3. Painted the back wall with chalkboard paint and using these lovely clocks as a decorative element and way to more quickly reference teammate time zones. The funky little side monitor is an ANCIENT USB-powered Mimo UM-710 which I use for dedicated monitoring of AirMail and Twitter.

More to come- this has been a fun adventure thus far. Special love to @Bill S Kenney and the entire Focus Lab team for the fun InVision LABS wooden cutout letters that are permanently residing below my monitor. :)
