Mashup The Light | Book

Mashup The Light” , is a university project that was born in 2012 in the Turin area with the intention to promote and enhance the increasingly influential world of “Visual Jocking” (VJ). VJing is the manipulation of images and clip videos in real time to the rhythm of the music. The inclusion of the visual effects was added to the audio performances to give the audience a much greater sensory experience. Thus, the concept of audio-visual performances was born. The aim of the project is to create information and connect local underground movements in the Turin area. This was done by promoting events, and creating connections between DJs and VJs. A book has been published dedicated to the project.
