Helloooooo Dribbble! Here's a short animation for the Designed New Haven logo in an effort to learn After Effects. Unfortunately this design never saw the light of day, but I really enjoyed the process.

The brand backstory:
New Haven's EDC is encouraging businesses to seed and thrive in this city. Designed New Haven is an initiative that features the people, places, and success stories that helped grow New Haven into the startup incubator that it is. Because DNH affects a wide variety of industries, a color has been designated for each one, which helps to distinguish and frame aspects of each industry while maintaining a cohesive brand. Think of the logo mark lockup as an abbreviation for ______ Designed New Haven, in which the blank is represented by the colored square.
