The Legend

In Between logo design jobs I like to pick random companys/people and design logos for them, even if they already have one. It's a good way to keep loose in between jobs and keep the creativity flowing. This time I chose Wynton Marsalis a legendary trumpet player. The bottom part makes up a "WM" (his initials), the 3 vertical lines are the trumpets valves, and the 3 things on top are the valve buttons. The thickness of the logo also represents his heavier 8lbs trumpet. Again this conceptual, nothing official.
