ThreadMeUp Chat Bot

We made a Facebook chat bot to handle common customer support questions, such as order tracking. Our engineering team wants to open source the bot soon and asked me to come up with some branding to round it out as a product.

I came up with the idea of using the traditional customer support icon to create the shape of a bird's head (Our mascot is a Carrier Pigeon) and allude to wings.

I tried some other variations where the earmuffs more closely resemble wings and the microphone resembles it's feet, but felt like like it was a bit too much. I think this mark is a nice balance between clever and simple. I'm sure sometime in the future I'll revisit the beak and create a stronger smile.
