Web Typography Schematic

Schematic diagram and comparison of different typefaces for a Web project. Here, Jan Frommer’s Rooney is paired with Jackson Burke’s Trade Gothic. In this application, the serif Rooney is used for long text formats such as articles, to boost readability, especially at smaller sizes on mobile devices. Trade Gothic is used as a no-nonsense family for heads and general site text, where its idiosyncrasies add color to the design without detracting from the content.
