Always Be Testing

The design community is insular. Especially places like Dribbble and DesignerNews. We like and share what we think rocks, and that's important.

But it's also important to always be testing what we think works. To know that we don't really know and test our hunches.

Every time we sit down and do a usability study with real people we're astonished about the little things we missed. Users have quirks, and our designs need to pass not just the Dribbble test - but the user test too.
