Town Square

Net Magazine asked me to contribute to next month's design challenge. The brief was to "design a website for a new cafe with a strong community focus" and a packed programme of events.

I wanted to do a foolproof homepage with all of the info upfront, no scrolling necessary. It's been a long minute since I used a sidebar like this and I like how it opened up the space horizontally.

They gave me complete control of the copy, so I packed full of obscure references.
