Red Sox Scores: May 18, 2016
The Royals and the Red Sox split the doubleheader caused by a rainout on Monday night. In the first game, Steven Wright tossed his second complete game of the season but Boston’s offense came up just short of getting the win. In the night game, David Price returned to form and shut down the Royals’ bats to get the win before the team hopped on a plane back home. In other news, Jackie Bradley Jr.’s hit streak remains alive and well.
