beIN SPORTS - Make Way for Real Superheroes

Towards the end of 2014, I got to produce, direct, and create the artwork and subtle animation and motion graphics for a promo for beIN SPORTS USA, as part of their "Make Way..." campaign. I worked on the player photo manips/illustrations, and Manny Grillo helped with the background matte painting. The ad campaign was meant to generate hype for El Clásico and was broadcasted on both beIN Sports and beIN Sports en Español. This early version included Gareth Bale, though he was swapped out for the final product, as he was injured before the match and the network requested I represent an accurate lineup.

Its positive reception prompted a request to create a variant that included players from La Liga, Serie A, and Ligue 1, in order to be broadcasted throughout the rest of the year as well.
