Seasonal Retail - NY&CO

Instead of choosing a season, I chose a theme. I thought it would be cool to do a throwback for women when they first started to gain working/equal rights after reading NY&CO's "About Us" - "We bring the energy, excitement and style of New York City – the fashion capital of the world – to women everywhere. New York & Company dresses women who work…and every woman works." I did a lot of research and found that New York is actually where a lot of substantial things happened for women's rights- for example, the first women's rights convention was held in New York. Through this, I came up with "Made in NY" - essentially, this is where women were "made" or where they gained rights that allowed the women today the freedom they have- like buying work clothes at a place called New York & Company :)
