Visual histories need visual journals. As I’ve been working on my upcoming book, "Never Use Futura," for Princeton Architectural Press, I’ve been gathering and organizing visuals. Forward-Looking is a timeline for 89 years of the quintessential modernist typeface, Futura, in all of its guises.
