bkr grotesque, in progress

Howdy partners! So when I moved out to San Francisco for Type@Cooper West, I needed a job (obviously). After a few weeks of searching I was employed at a brand called bkr. bkr is a water bottle company positioned in the fashion / beauty world around the idea that hydration is the key to beautiful skin (remember that fellas). But! They brought me on to do general design work, but also work on a logotype refresh as well as creating a custom typeface for the brand, and this is the very early stage! I'm excited about it, and I'm learning a lot about type design along the way. If you've got any thoughts at all, throw em my way! I've attached more images, but I haven't quite gotten into expanding the character set yet.
