Openstack Final Poster

A group of designers where asked to assist in the creation of limited run screen printed posters for IBM clients that would be attending the OpenStack Summit in Austin, Texas.

The four posters would be tied by the theme “Open by Design” but each designer was tasked with interpreting that in their own way.

I was drawn towards the idea of open windows, both in the real world but in the digital space and how as we are doing our daily task we’ve got multiple “windows” open on our screens. Also playing with the typography to be a little more fun to mimic responsive design and how our design process must be fluid to allow anyone to be able to use the things we are designing and building.
