Car Sharing On Messenger Platform

A native app may not cut it all the time. Messenger Platform Bot as a part of car sharing service makes a lot of sense to me: quick way to make a reservation or a natural way of being notified of an upcoming reservation.
I don't think of it as a replacement of apps, but rather an extension that can be quite helpful and more practical at times.
What are your thoughts?
