A Dark and Stormy Night invitation & RSVP

Big Class, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating and supporting the voices of New Orleans' writers ages 6-18 through creative collaborations with schools and communities, held their first annual fundraiser in December 2016.
Big Class Big aspires to the 826 model and is participating in the 826 National Chapter Development Process, with plans to open The Haunting Supply Co.—a store for ghosts—in New Orleans. A Dark and Stormy Night marked the first fundraising event for the The Haunting Supply Co., with products for ghosts, spooky cocktails, and ghost stories for auction by nationally and locally famous writers.

I created the logo type for the event using calligraphy and hand lettering, featured here on the front of the invitation. I also hand illustrated ghosts and other illustrations for the interior, and hand lettered each of the 200+ invitations.
