Emparejar Cigar & Bottle Shop Logo

To continue my 50 States 50 Brands project, I created a logo for a business in Florida. Emparejar Cigar & Bottle Shop based in Ybor City – a neighborhood in Tampa, Florida, formerly known as the Cigar Capital of the World. As their name suggests (Emparejar means “to pair” in Spanish), they focus primarily on pairing cigars with craft beer and liquors. While the hobby is more popular amongst the older, higher-income male, the challenge was to also attract younger men to make sure the business has a good future. This meant designing a logo that is elegant and sophisticated, but also interesting and memorable.
