2016 Polly Bond Award

I wanted to share some exciting news!

Last week, I attended the 2016 Episcopal Communicators conference in Portland, OR. This is a national, annual conference for marketing and communications professionals who work either in the Episcopal church or for Episcopal-affiliated organizations.

At the closing banquet, our team took home two Polly Bond Awards: one for our most recent annual report (which I co-produced with our copywriter, Leslie Hartley) and another for our Camp Kanuga t-shirt design (see rebound). The Award of Merit is comparable to second place and the Honorable Mention is essentially third place.

It was an honor to be recognized among our peers, and I was glad to see that so many people in the Episcopal church have nothing but love for Kanuga. I feel very grateful to be doing the work that I am.
