A Universal Composer

We want to make Remind the best place for educators, learners, and their families to communicate. In order to move in that direction, we need to shift Remind from a 1-way broadcasting service to a full-fledged 2-way messaging app. The first part of that journey was to make a composer that could be accessed from anywhere in the app.

Whether you're sending a message to an entire class, a small group of people, or just to an individual, composing on Remind is now easier, more obvious, and more fun 😀🎉 .

This was co-designed with @Collin Wikman and implemented from scratch by the talented Alex Leffelman. We used Flinto for Mac to prototype the animation.
