Hey there little guy! (Process)

Tree stump process. One of my favourite things to see are artists process posts. Sometimes I enjoy seeing chicken scratch sketches/thumbnails or colour blocking studies to see the journey of where the final piece ended up. It often shows the thoughts behind the art pieces which has real value for those interested.

I'm using photoshop for all of my art here these days (I only use AI for some of my animation work for mainly technical reasons inside After Effects.) This has been a challenging, yet liberating transition from AI and am feeling a lot more comfortable now.

I really wanted to explore a more rendered piece, so I decided this was a fun little exercise to learn a bit along the way.
