Blue Boys - Tamzara

A project, dedicated to bring the non-mainstream pieces from the
Turkish Rock History into light with unique art works.

Defining their genre as “samba-swing-oriental”, Mavi Çocuklar was first out as Blue Boys (the English version of their names). They received Golden Microphone Award with Develi Daylar/Tamzara in 1967. After the award, they got on the stage with a wooden camel on a Cadillac, referring to the lyrics of the song, “pull the camels, cameleer”, and wooden camel became the symbol of their concerts by time. They continued their careers for a while and disbanded quiet and retiring.
