Bots for Messenger

Over the past year we've been partnering with businesses to build deeper interactions with their customers on Messenger. Today we are launching the Messenger Platform (beta) with Bots and our Send / Receive API.

In understanding the organic communications that people already have with businesses on Messenger and other communication channels, we identified a need for more powerful interactions. With simplicity in mind, we designed and "upgraded" text messages to be more personal, interactive, and instant. In addition, developers can leverage new tools like a natural language processing engine, bubble templates, and much more.

We think all of this will result in better communication with the businesses you care about, and it's just the start!
