Venezuela from A to Z The Dancing Devils of Yare (Diablos Danzantes de Yare) is the name of a religious festivity in Miranda state, Venezuela, at the Corpus Christi day. It is a ritual dance performed by the Devils to celebrate the victory of good over evil. Its origins are traced back to the 18th century, being the oldest religious brotherhood in America.
