One of the things I decided to do after our Kickstarter was send all of the artwork, merch, and packaging design to artists I well respected. I'm a huge believer that successful work cannot be finished in isolation. Getting great, honest, and sometimes hard to hear criticism on this artwork from Jeff Sheldon, Micah Bell, Brandon Rike, Alex Medina, and Jordan Butcher (to name a few) was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend sending work you've got in process to folks you look up to. It may help shape your work in ways you couldn't imagine.
Pretty close to the end of the vinyl design, we got word that what we were hoping for in our duo-tone disk wasn't going to be possible. We opted for a semi-clear vinyl instead, and I love the way it came out!
