Eustace and the Golden Pool

"There was a boy called Eustace Clarence Scrubb, and he almost deserved it."

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, a book in the Chronicles of Narnia series, is one of my favorite books from childhood. This illustration, made using one continuous line, depicts Eustace reaching for a gold sword at the bottom of a deceptively serene pool.
